Prior to her role as Connie on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Lauren Ridloff was nominated for a Tony Award last spring for Lead Actress in a Play for her Broadway debut in Children of A Lesser God. Ridloff was called a “sensational find” by Ben Brantley of the NY Times and credited with a “blistering, knockout professional debut performance" by the Times’ Jesse Green. Ridloff has guest starred on NBC's New Amsterdam and The CW's Legacies. She plays a supporting roles in the upcoming indies The Magnificent Meyersons and Sound of Metal. Ridloff also appeared in the Todd Haynes’ Palme D’Or-nominated film Wonderstruck. A former Miss Deaf America, Ridloff is of African-American and Mexican descent.
