A Discovery of Witches
In Oxford's library, American historian and reluctant witch Diana Bishop unwittingly calls up an ancient magical manuscript, and finds herself confronted by geneticist and vampire Matthew Clairmont, who is determined to get his hands on the book.
Blind to the interest she has stirred amongst creatures, Diana fights an increasing pull towards the magical and turns her back on her witch heritage, but matters take an unexpectedly dark turn when Satu is sent by Peter Knox to intimidate her.

Joel unwinds in his new chiro-gyro while The Mads present their flame-throwing flower. Then, Joel and the Bots are forced to watch the spooky and demented Bela Lugosi film, "The Corpse Vanishes".

Joel fools his two evil overlords during the Invention Exchange. Then, The Mads show off their Limb-Lengthener to stretch out Larry's arm, which seamlessly segues into the theater for "The Crawling Hand" (1964).
Joel and the Bots are forced to watch the 1953 sci-fi flick,"Robot Monster", where after destroying all civilization on Earth, an alien attempts to wipe out the planet's last survivors.
The Mads show off their Insect-A-Sketch, which combines the classic Etch-A-Sketch toy with an ant farm. Joel and the Bots watch the Sci-fi film, "Project Moonbase" (1953), in which the president and captain of a lunar space station are both women.
The Sidehackers (a.k.a. Five the Hard Way)
The Mads show off their invention which allows them to be in two places at once. Joel and the Bots write a song inspired by the movie, "The Sidehacker," where a motorcycle racer and a violent stunt rider start a war of vengeance against each other.
Joel presents the Tickle Bazooka in this episode's adventure exchange. MST3K screens "Catalina Caper" (1967), where a map heist goes horribly wrong off the coast of Catalina and it's up to a bunch of scuba-partying teens to save the day.
The Wild Rebels
Joel and the gang watch "The Wild Rebels" (1967), a movie about a stock-car racer who is recruited as a getaway driver for a biker gang. Then, Joel explains how to appreciate a bad movie.
The Lost Continent
Against his will, Joel is forced to watch sci-fi fantasy film, "Lost Continent" (1951), where a military team sent to search for a lost rocket ends up trapped on a mountain inhabited by dinosaurs.
Joel and the Bots try to figure out what's going on in the biker film, "The Hellcat" (1968). Then the gang reminisces on some favorite moments, including when Joel gave a lecture on what floating things are funny and which aren't.
Stranded in Space
In the theater, Joel and the Bots watch "Stranded in Space" in which inhabitants of an Earthlike planet seem to lack free will.

The War of the Worlds
George and Amy are new to Woking and short of friends except for Ogilvy, a scientist and fellow outcast. When a mysterious capsule lands, the trio are the first to examine it. But a terrifying menace lurking in the capsule is unleashed.
