Star-Spangled Streams for the 4th of July

The Fourth of July is all about red-white-and-blue, fireworks, barbecues, and gathering with friends and family. But it's also about celebrating the origins of these United States. TURN: Washington’s Spies
An AMC original series, TURN: Washington's Spies stars Jamie Bell and is the untold story of America's first spy ring. It's the tale of an unlikely team of secret agents who form The Culper Ring to help turn the tide of the Revolutionary War, and features appearances by General George Washington and Benedict Arnold. Binge all four seasons on AMC+.

The American West
From Executive Producer Robert Redford, The American West tells the story of the aftermath of the Civil War and how the United States transformed into the land of opportunity. The documentary/series depicts the exploits of legendary figures like Jesse James, Crazy Horse, Billy the Kid, Sitting Bull, Wyatt Earp, and General Custer, with commentary from authors, historians, and actors such as Redford who made their mark in Westerns. Stream all eight episodes now on AMC+.

Hell on Wheels
The five seasons of AMC's drama, Hell on Wheels, follows the story of a Confederate veteran (Anson Mount) as he heads west to seek revenge against the Union soldiers who killed his wife. He also works on the Transcontinental Railroad, which transformed the country by connecting the East and West coasts both literally and figuratively. The cast of the Emmy-nominated series includes Colm Meaney as an opportunistic entrepreneur, Common as a former slave remaking his life, and Tzi Ma as the leader of the Chinese workers. Binge Hell on Wheels on AMC+. 

Copper
Copper, a gripping crime series set in 1860s New York City, centers on Kevin Corcoran (Tom Weston-Jones), an intense, rugged Irish-American detective (or "copper") working the city's notorious Five Points neighborhood in Lower Manhattan. The Catcher Was a Spy
Paul Rudd stars in this true-life thriller about Moe Berg, a Boston Red Sox catcher-turned-World War II spy tasked with assassinating Werner Heisenberg, a Nazi atomic scientist played by Mark Strong (of AMC's Low Winter Sun). The movie also features Jeff Daniels as the head of the Office of Strategic Services (the precursor to the CIA), and Paul Giamatti as a Dutch-born physicist. Watch The Catcher Was a Spy on AMC+.

Mad Men
Mad Men is AMC's critically acclaimed series from creator, writer, director and executive producer Matthew Weiner. Set in 1960s New York, Mad Men, which stars Jon Hamm as the magnetic and tormented ad exec Don Draper, pulls the viewer into the high-powered and glamorous "Golden Age" of advertising. The multi-Emmy winner also showcases how the U.S. navigated the shift from the postwar prosperity of Dwight Eisenhower's presidency to the tumult of the Sixties. Stream all seven seasons on AMC+.
