Watch the Season 1 Trailer for The Walking Dead: World Beyond

The official trailer for The Walking Dead: World Beyond was released today during a Comic-Con@Home virtual panel, hosted by Chris Hardwick, and featuring TWD Universe Chief Creative Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner and Executive Producer Matt Negrete, and cast members Aliyah Royale (Iris), Alexa Mansour (Hope), Hal Cumpston (Silas), Nicolas Cantu (Elton), Nico Tortorella (Felix), Annet Mahendru (Huck), Julia Ormond (Elizabeth), and Joe Holt (Leo).

The trailer provides the longest look yet at the newest addition to the TWD Universe, which premieres on Sunday, October 4 at 9/8c immediately following the Season 10 Finale of The Walking Dead. The trailer gives fans a clear view at a new mythology and story, that follows the first generation raised in a surviving civilization of the post-apocalyptic world.

In the series, two sisters, Iris and Hope, along with two friends, Elton and Silas, leave a place of safety and comfort to brave dangers—both known and unknown, living and undead—on an important quest. Pursued by those who wish to protect them and those who wish to harm them, a tale of growing up and transformation unfurls across dangerous terrain. Their journey challenges everything they know about the world, themselves, and each other.

In World Beyond, some will become heroes, some will become villains, but all of them will find the truths they seek.
