Donna's developed a much tougher exterior over the course of Halt and Catch Fire. Being shafted from the Internet project she brought Joe, Cameron and Gordon together to work on has only given her thicker skin, and she doesn't plan on letting that happen again. While she has no connection with Joe and Cameron anymore, she and Gordon still have their dinners to touch base on their daughters. This is where Donna hears about Joe's new big idea.
