Stream NOS4A2 Episode 2 Now: Charlie Manx’s Horrifying First Ride to Christmasland
In the latest episode of NOS4A2, Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto)’s heart beats again. After eight long years in a coma after his explosive faceoff with Vic MQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), the youth-stealing vampire is back from the brink of death. But he’s not out of the woods yet.
Manx wakes up in a hospital, still in his decrepit, fragile state -- and with his chest cavity sawed open from an autopsy and a scalpel stabbed through his heart. With the Wraith restored, though, he can slowly crawl his way out of the hospital. But if he doesn’t whisk a child away to Christmasland soon, his second chance at life -- and revenge -- may be short lived.
While Charlie Manx’s future is more uncertain than ever, the episode offers flashbacks in Manx’s century-old life. Look back at happier times, to when Manx started building his life with the beautiful and wealthy Cassie. In the early 1920s, Manx was blissfully in love and optimistic at the notion of starting his own business. But when their daughter, Millicent, is born, the Manx family faces setback after setback.
Still, once Manx acquires his signature Rolls-Royce Wraith, things go from bad to worse. Despite Manx’s optimism that the Wraith will fix his family’s problem, it only makes their lives more miserable. How did it all go so wrong?
