• Ryan Hurst teases to Entertainment Weekly that "what I can hint at is, I guess, to say that Daryl and Beta cross paths, and they see that they’re very similar and very different at the same time, but that they’re worthy adversaries."

• The Hollywood Reporter asks, "Does Alpha's decision to behead a rival foreshadow how she's going to handle members of the Kingdom, Hilltop and Alexandria in the near future? Almost certainly. Does it foreshadow her own eventual demise? Quite possibly, if the TV series sticks to the comic book letter..."

• Cinema Blend spotlights a Grimes family reunion, where Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori), Chandler Riggs (Carl) and Cailey Fleming (Judith) gathered for a family photo -- and noted the trio "do look like they could be related."

• Samantha Morton tells the BBC, "I don't think Alpha is particularly aware she is a baddie. She is just following her principles and living her life the way she thinks she should live her life. I think there is a conviction, a power and a femininity in that."

• ComicBook.com shares the news that The Walking Dead has been nominated for Favorite TV Drama at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

• Angela Kang previews to Entertainment Weekly that next week's episode has "some great, great action because you can’t take anything from Alpha without there being a response. So I’ll say that we’ll follow that group that’s trying to make their way back to safety, and we’ll get to know more about Beta and the way he deals with problems."

• Ryan Hurst tells TV Insider that Beta and Alpha's relationship is "intimate and complicated. Some of this is yet to be completely explored on the show, but I think he is her right hand, he is her enforcer, he is her consiglieri, a bit."

• Screen Rant explains that "if the fair on AMC's The Walking Dead winds up being anything like the fair in The Walking Dead comics, then it is doomed to end in tragedy - and it might all be Daryl's fault."

• David Morrissey explains it was "a really tough day" when the Governor had to kill Scott Wilson's Hershel because "Scott has been always a great man, he was a very special man, a very special actor, but a very special man as well," ComicBook.com reports.

• Jeffrey Dean Morgan reveals he didn't know the identity of Negan's victims in the Season 6 cliffhanger, saying, according to ComicBook.com, "I really didn’t know until I came back [at the start of Season 7]. I thought Steven [Yeun], but I had no idea about Abraham."
