Norman Ditches Los Angeles for the California Desert

In the latest episode, Norman is in California and ready to see some of his friends -- both old and new. He stops by the shop of friend and bike-builder Yaniv Evan and takes one of his bikes for a spin.

Of course, no visit Norman takes to Los Angeles is complete without visiting one of his closest buddies Greg Nicotero, The Walking Dead Executive Producer and Special Effects Designer. Norman is like a kid in a candy shop in Greg's 20,000-square-foot studio, a pseudo-museum for all of the undead oddities and iconic horror props that Greg has created during his prolific career. Norman even runs into a lifelike dummy of himself -- and, of course, he takes a selfie with it.

After crossing a visit to the Ramones Ranch off his bucket list and meeting Linda Ramone, Norman escapes the bustle of the city to the serenity of the desert in Joshua Tree. "Los Angeles is my anchor," he says. "The desert is my release."

Watch Norman see old friends and make new ones in Southern California on amc.com and AMC apps for mobile and devices.
