How To Watch The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Fear The Walking Dead

There may be only one episode left in this first bloc of The Walking Dead's final season, but don't despair! The second and last season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond just started on Sunday, October 3 at 10/9c, and Fear the Walking Dead's Season 7 is set to premiere on Sunday, October 17 at 9/8c. As always, AMC+ subscribers get access to episodes one week early.

At the end of Season 1 of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, our group had scattered and the Civic Republic Military's noose was tightening. Hope (Alexa Mansour) boarded a helicopter to see her dad, accompanied by Huck (Anett Mahendru), who was revealed as a CRM spy, and the daughter of CRM Lt. Col. Kublek (Julia Ormond). Iris (Aaliyah Royale) and Felix (Nico Tortorella) bid farewell to Hope and encountered Felix's boyfriend Will (Jelani Alladin), who told them everyone at the Campus Colony had been massacred. Silas (Hal Cumpston) surrendered to the CRM in a bid to create a distraction so that Elton (Nicolas Cantu) and Percy (Ted Sutherland) could go in search of Iris and Hope.

It's unclear if and/or how the group will be reunited in Season 2, and just how insidious and extensive the CRM's reach is. But it’s clear that Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) will be a major player in Season 2. Last seen in Season 9 of The Walking Dead, Jadis/Anne was the leader of a group called the Scavengers that lived in a junkyard. She’s most famous for spiriting away a severely-wounded Rick in a CRM helicopter, thus saving his life. Jadis hasn't been seen again in The Walking Dead Universe... until now.

In the new season of Fear the Walking Dead, Teddy (John Glover) may be dead, but it's our survivors who are forced to deal with the literal fallout. The nuclear warheads launched by Teddy at the end of Season 6, has forced them to encase themselves in gas masks and hazmat suits. Now they must navigate this new world—one that is both radioactive and post-apocalyptic.

Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) is presumably still trapped in the underground bunker where Teddy incarcerated her. Morgan (Lennie James) and Grace (Karen David), although prepared to die in the nuclear blast, are now in charge of caring for an orphaned baby girl. June (Jenna Elfman) and John Dorie, Sr. (Keith Carradine) have escaped into the relative safety of Teddy's bunker. Daniel (Rubén Blades), Luciana (Danay Garcia), Wes (Colby Hollman), Charlie (Alexa Nisenson), Sarah (Mo Collins), and Rabbi Jacob (Peter Jacobson) are flown away in a CRM helicopter at Althea's (Maggie Grace) behest. Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) take shelter with a local family. And Strand (Colman Domingo), as ever, lands on his feet and takes refuge in a building filled with museum pieces collected by a historian named Howard (Omid Abtahi).
