How to Watch Fear The Walking Dead's Final Season

When we last saw Fear the Walking Dead's Madison and Morgan, they were speeding en route to PADRE to rescue Baby Mo. To see if they succeed and how it all unfolds, be sure to watch Fear the Walking Dead's Season 8 Premiere on Sunday, May 14 at 9:00pm ET/8c. Each episode in this final season will also be available for AMC+ subscribers to stream early on Thursdays beginning May 11.
In Season 7, Madison (Kim Dickens), who had long been presumed dead, returned to the show after a four-year absence. It was revealed that she worked as a collector, snatching children from their parents to be brought up by the enigmatic PADRE. She came up against Morgan (Lennie James) when she kidnapped Mo, the baby that Morgan and Grace (Karen David) decided to adopt as their own. In other developments, Strand's (Colman Domingo) Tower was destroyed and he set out on a raft – along with June (Jenna Elfman), Grace, Luciana (Danay Garcia), Charlie (Alexa Nisenson), Daniel (Rubén Blades), Dwight (Austin Amelio), and a pregnant Sherry (Christine Evangelista), among others – to flee Texas. Lastly, the show bid farewell to Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), who recovered from her walker bite and set off on her own.
The first six episodes of Season 8 will start airing this month, while the second half of the final season will air later this year. Viewers can catch all the action on AMC's subscription platform, AMC+, which offers ad-free, early access programming from AMC as well as a collection of ad-free shows and movies from AMC, BBC America, SundanceTV, Shudder, Sundance Now, and IFC Unlimited. Watch the trailer for Fear the Walking Dead's final season:

Season 8's first half will delve into the world of PADRE, including what it looks like, who runs it, and why it exists – and introduce us to compelling new characters along the way. Viewers will see how working for PADRE and, often, being separated from friends and loved ones has inflicted psychological damage on our heroes, who are caught in the clutches of this entity. At the same time, old demons will reappear and, hopefully, be subdued.
