So what can you expect as we delve into more iconic Anne Rice territory? Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches is an 8-episode series based on Rice’s bestselling trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches. It's a luscious, dark drama that follows intuitive neurosurgeon Dr. Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario) as she learns about her past and her unlikely ties to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must also contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations. You won’t be able to forget him once you meet him, trust us.
The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson (Interview with the Vampire, Better Call Saul), with showrunners Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford. The cast also features the incomparable Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire, Fargo), Tongayi Chirisa (iZombie), and Harry Hamlin (Mad Men).
