Here's What You Need to Know About British Police Drama Line of Duty

"One thing we both know -- the easiest way to get away with killing someone: be a police officer."

In the critically acclaimed British police drama Line of Duty, premiering on AMC this Saturday at 10/9c, the targets of the investigations are the police themselves.

When Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) joins the anti-corruption unit, he learns the target of his first investigation is the well respected Detective Chief Inspector, Tony Gates (Lennie James). Though Gates' professional conduct appears above reproach, his private life may provide his enemies the evidence they seek. Arnott, along with Detective Constable Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) and Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), must get to the bottom of Gates' dealings before more innocent lives are lost.
