Den of Geek Talks Saul Endings; CarterMatt Asks Gene Questions

This week, Den of Geek takes a look at what might happen to several Better Call Saul characters, while CarterMatt has some questions about Gene. Plus, Screen Rant explains why the show is a worthy spinoff. Read on for more:

Den of Geek takes a look at the "five major Better Call Saul characters whose endings are coming sooner or later" and asserts that "as the writers go deeper into this world, it could even be argued that it’s become better than the original series."

CarterMatt wonders this about Gene: "So who are some of the people we’d love to see him with at some point in this 'future' timeline? We’ve come up with a list of three worthy candidates from Better Call Saul, and then also Breaking Bad to go along with it."

Screen Rant calls Better Call Saul a spinoff worth watching: "Using the same great storytelling that made the prior show unforgettable, Saul works as a prequel; getting to take advantage of all of the great characters we met on [Breaking] Bad while establishing new memorable storylines as well."

• Looking ahead to Season 5, Den of Geek praises Bob Odenkirk, who "gives a masterful performance as the man who gradually becomes the sly lawyer we recognise from Breaking Bad, and is supported by an excellent cast, strong writing and poised direction."

CarterMatt wonders about Better Call Saul, "How can the AMC series, widely regarded as one of the best drama series of the past several years, routinely be shut out by the Emmys or the Golden Globes?"
