Culture Trip Gets the Long Beach Secrets from Lodge 49's Location Manager
From Bluff Park to Cabrillo Beach, the locations on Lodge 49 are some of the show's most important characters. That's why Culture Trip — a global platform creating stories that reveal what is unique and special about a place, its people and its culture — sat down with Lodge 49's location manager, Debbie Page, to learn more about how she finds the show's picturesque locations near Long Beach, Calif.
“Jim Gavin, who created the show, grew up in the Long Beach area and wanted to set the show there,” Page explains. "Long Beach had a lot of open sky, and that was important to him in terms of finding locations."
