Celebrate National Streaming Day With These 8 Great AMC+ Series

This Saturday, May 20, is National Streaming Day. Launched in 2014, it's an annual celebration of all the great content we have at our fingertips in the streaming era. If you're looking for viewing inspiration, AMC+ has you covered with eight great series to check out this National Streaming Day and beyond. They're split into Short & Sweet Streams – for when you fancy something snappy – and Long-Haul Binges, for when you're ready to dive into an in-depth project.

The Suspect
Poldark favorite Aidan Turner takes the lead in this twisty five-part crime drama. He plays Joe O'Loughlin, a high-profile clinical psychologist whose enviable reputation is cast into doubt when a woman found stabbed to death is revealed to be his recent patient. Anne Boleyn
JodieTurner-Smith stars in this AMC+ Original about Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII. Set in Boleyn's final five months prior to her execution for treason in 1536, it's a gripping three-parter that shines a spotlight on a strong-willed and intelligent woman who hasn't always been given her dues. Portlandia
Created by and starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, this cult sketch series pokes affectionate fun at Portland, Oregon, a city that really embraces its reputation as a haven for quirky hipsters. The six-episode first season includes classic sketches such as "Put a Bird on It," a hilarious send-up of the crafting revival that will make you snicker and cringe at the same time. SisterS
This brand new dark comedy series stars – and is written by – real-life best friends Sarah Goldberg (Barry) and Susan Stanley (Fair City). Mad Men
This Emmy-winning period drama series follows the fortunes of a Madison Avenue advertising agency and its employees from 1960 to 1970.
