• John Wirth, speaking with CarterMatt about the final episodes and Cullen vs. the Swede, says, "This confrontation’s going to be a little more in-your-face than anything that we’ve seen over the past couple of seasons."

The (San Jose) Mercury News spotlights this Saturday's premiere of the show's final seven episodes, noting that it's "the end of the line for Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and his work on America's first transcontinental railroad."

• Meanwhile, Arkansas Online also features the final episodes: "While it's no spoiler that the railroad gets completed, it's still a mystery who'll be left standing by the time the golden spike is finally driven on May 10, 1869."

CarterMatt highlights a video which teases the final episodes and "features everyone from Anson Mount, Colm Meaney, executive producer John Wirth and co-executive producer Jami O’Brien talking about some of the preparation and effort that went into the creation of these stories as we start to wind the series down."
