Bob Odenkirk Earns Screen Actors Guild Award Nomination
Bob Odenkirk has received his third nomination this awards season for his performance as Jimmy McGill on Better Call Saul. The latest nod comes from the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which has once again nominated Odenkirk for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.
Odenkirk's other nominations include a Golden Globes nod for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama and a Critic's Choice nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series.
Better Call Saul has also being recognized with three nominations from The Writers Guild of America, including recognition of all of the show’s writers two nominations in the Episodic Drama category for“Chicanery,” written by Gordon Smith, and “Slip,” written by Heather Marion. Plus, Odenkirk's co-star Michael McKean also received a Critics’ Choice Awards for his performance as Chuck McGill.
