TV Guide on Vince Gilligan's Season 4 Thoughts; TheWrap Features New Teaser
This week, Vince Gilligan shares his Season 4 thoughts with TV Guide, while TheWrap features a new teaser. Plus, Bryan Cranston tells Entertainment Weekly his idea for a Walt cameo. Read on for more:
• TV Guide interviews Vince Gilligan, who warns, "Kim and Jimmy's relationship is gonna undergo some changes in Season 4 and a great many complications...I don't know that you're gonna see Kim and Jimmy living happily ever after in Season 4."
• TheWrap showcases a Season 4 teaser and surmises that "it looks like we are finally about to see Jimmy McGill turn into that bad, bad attorney we all know and love."
• Bryan Cranston, asked by Entertainment Weekly about a possible Better Call Saul appearance, proposes, "A quick little something. We’ve come to know people who we’ve seen before but we don’t know that we’ve seen them before, because we were in the store and we just passed by them...then five years later, you would never remember that."
• Peter Gould tells Den of Geek that Season 4 has "action and suspense and some deep character work like nothing else we’ve done on this show. When it comes to action, there is some action that rivals anything that we did on Breaking Bad."
• TheWrap spotlights exclusive photos of Michael Mando, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian from the new season.
• /Film deems the drama "one of the best shows on television right now. Each new season has found Better Call Saul going to darker places, and yet the show remains riveting. An incredible cast and a group of talented writers manage to make all of this manageable and digestible, and even pretty damn funny at times."
• Asked by Indiewire about the show not being eligible for the Emmys this year, Michael Mando replies, "I think the Emmys are a beautiful and necessary event, and I think we all value the Emmys very much, but I think we approach the story first."
