• The Hollywood Reporter shares news that AMC has green-lighted a miniseries called The Little Drummer Girl that's based on the bestselling novel by John le Carré and will star Florence Pugh.

• Deadline reports that The Little Drummer Girl will be directed by Park Chan-wook, "one of the best known Korean filmmakers worldwide," in his TV debut.

• In reporting the news, Digital Spy notes, "BBC One and AMC had huge success with John le Carré adaptation The Night Manager, so they're turning to the legendary author for another huge TV series."

• Variety says The Little Drummer Girl is set to go into production in 2018.
