• The cast tells TV Insider it wants Tom Cruise as a Season 3 guest star, and Ruth Negga adds, "Because no one ever dies on Preacher, so he got blown up, but did he?"

• IGN recommends checking out Preacher because "Season 2 has ramped up the insanity while actually bringing in full elements from the Garth Ennis/Steve Dillon comic series."

• Nerdcore Movement cheers, "The second season of Preacher has been jam packed with so many compelling storylines it’s tough to keep them all straight yet each one has been meticulously crafted throughout the episodes."

• Desmin Borges talks to Monkeys Fighting Robots about the flashback in Season 1's "Call and Response," when his character Carlos leaves Jesse and Tulip in the bank, "and the whole world kind of spirals from there… to know that I was kind of the catalyst for that was pretty dope."

• Metro reports the Season 2 Finale will air Sept. 11, noting that "the fact that Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen were able to both bring the series to life and give it enough substance and foundation for it to last at least two seasons, probably more, highlights how impressive Preacher has been."
