LA Times Marvels at Dietland; Erin Darke Speaks With People

This week, the Los Angeles Times is impressed with Dietland, while Erin Darke speaks with People about her character. Plus, Bustle talks about what it's learned from the show. Read on for more:

• The Los Angeles Times marvels that Dietland "feels so unfiltered, that there's something really punk rock about it, really angry, transgressive, and when I've been watching Dietland, a lot of times my initial response is 'I can't believe this is on TV.'"

• Asked by People about playing Leeta, Erin Darke replies, "I really enjoy how much her exterior doesn’t really match the person she is. It’s actually really fun playing someone who is so unexpected, but also has such a heart."

• After viewing Dietland, Bustle realizes, "It's not fat people who need to change, it's the rest of the world that needs to adjust and make some space for the fat perspective."

• On its TV Party podcast, Consequence of Sound says Dietland has "been really interesting. It's been interesting since it started, but I think it's going into some interesting stuff in transitioning towards the end of its season."
