• Deadline reports that Julianna Margulies will star in AMC's Dietland, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Sarai Walker.

• According to The Hollywood Reporter, Erin Darke has also joined the Dietland cast, joining Julianna Margulies and Joy Nash.

• In other casting news, Tramell Tillman, Robin Weigert and Will Seefried are joining Dietland,

according to Deadline.

• Rowena King will co-star in Dietland opposite Julianna Margulies and Joy Nash, playing "a no-nonsense newscaster who tries to remain level-headed and strictly bipartisan in an ever confusing and macabre news cycle," Deadline reports.

• TV Guide says Marti Noxon will write Dietland's script in addition to serving as showrunner.

• USA Today announces that Dietland will air 10 episodes in 2018.

• Refinery 29 characterizes Dietland as "equal parts The Devil Wears Prada and Mr. Robot — with a very modern twist."
