The Comic Book Men Comic Book Pull List: March 4, 2015

They can talk about comics all day long on Comic Book Men, but have you ever wondered what comics the guys from the Secret Stash are actually reading? Mike Zapcic and Ming Chen share what they’re pulling off the shelves from this week’s new comic book releases…

[Marvel Comics]

"Back in the 1970s, Marvel had a CRAZY idea: Why not create a comic in which the greatest super villains would scheme and plan to destroy their enemies and conquer the world? It was AMAZING! Ahead of its time, this series brought together Dr. Doom and Namor the Sub-Mariner in an uneasy alliance since Namor vacillated between heroics and just being, well, pretty much a dick. But Namor finds that backing out of a partnership with Doom is easier said than done! This series also guest starred Magneto, the Red Skull, the Circus of Crime and the mysterious Shroud! It comes out today, collected in color for the first time."

[Marvel Comics]

"Picking up where Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope left off, the other badass Star Wars character who possesses the Force is given her own storyline. The Empire has now been dealt a big blow with the destruction of the Death Star. Leia is now charged with protecting the Rebellion and living in a galaxy in which her home planet is no longer."

[Marvel Comics]

"The previous Hawkeye series by Matt Fraction was one of the best written series that I have read in a long time and I am looking forward to seeing if this reboot can live up to that one."

Comic Book Men airs Sundays at Midnight/11c and you can watch full episodes from Season 4 now.
