Bottomless Brunch at Colman's: Celebrate Awards Season with a Don Julio Anejo Old Fashioned

The glitz and the glamor of awards season is upon us, and what better way to take in all the shows than with a fabulous cocktail in hand? With that awards season elegance in mind, Colman was inspired to riff on a classic cocktail in the most recent episode of Bottomless Brunch with Colman. For this special celebration of awards season featuring Laverne Cox and Adam McKay, he's turning to orange essence and Tequila Don Julio Añejo to fill our rocks glass and salute the winners. Check out the recipe below! 
Ingredients
1 ½ oz Tequila Don Julio Añejo
1 tsp simple syrup
2 dashes aromatic bitters
Garnish: orange peel
Recipe
Step 1:
Add all your ingredients to a mixing glass over ice
Step 2: Stir until thoroughly chilled
Step 3: Strain into a rocks glass over a large format ice cube
Step 4: Garnish with a twist of orange peel
