AMC Recognized With 13 Emmy Nominations for Better Call Saul, Fear the Walking Dead: Passage and More

On Thursday, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recognized AMC with 13 nominations for the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Better Call Saul was honored with 10 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Bob Odenkirk), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Jonathan Banks), Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Vince Gilligan) and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series (Gordon Smith).

Better Call Saul's other nominations include Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series for the episodes "Chicanery" and "Witness", Outstanding Music Supervision and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour). The Better Call Saul "Los Pollos Hermanos Employee Training" series starring Giancarlo Esposito was also nominated in the Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series category.

Fear the Walking Dead: Passage was nominated in the Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series, and actress Kelsey Scott was recognized with a nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series for her role in the post-apocalyptic web series.

Additionally, Greg Nicotero was recognized for his work on The Walking Dead with a nomination in the Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Limited Series, Movie Or Special category.
