• Dan O’Bannon, the screenwriter of Alien, passed away at the age of 63.

Laurence Fishburne has joined the cast of Predators, Nimrod Antal’s update of the popular scifi franchise. The duo recently worked together on Armored, that movie about the armored car heist that will probably be playing on cable any minute now.
