With bright eyes, wild hair, and the gaunt, cadaverous face of a maniac, Tom Baker’s Fourth Doctor seemingly corners the market as far as Doctor Who lunacy is concerned. Perpetually drunk, Baker crashes through his scenes, a time traveler who apparently can only face the horrors of time and space with a belly full of bourbon.
Needless to say, the Fourth Doctor is the fan favorite. But lest we forget, his predecessor, played by none other than the dapper Jon Pertwee, didn’t eschew a stiff drink from time to time himself. How else to explain this utterly inexplicable Doctor Who song he recorded in the early psychedelic 70s?
