Exclusive! Perry Farrell’s Classic Movies

I hopped a plane to Chicago over the weekend to enjoy a long weekend of rock and pop at the Lollapalooza festival.  And what a weekend it was. I stopped at the Sony PlayStation party to check out Buzz, a quick, fun but occasionally tough trivia game which will tease your brain with movies and all things pop culture. 

At the Friday night PlayStation party, I hung for a while with the legendary Perry Farrell, the founder of Jane’s Addiction, Porno For Pyros, the intense Satellite Party and, of course, Lollapalooza.

Ferrell kicks it old school when it comes to favorite actors, saying, "I have to say I love the old classics, the DeNiros, the Hoffman’s, the McQueens, and the Newmans. They were macho, but not offensively so. They were people I wanted to be and they
inspired me.    Today, I think they push some of
the actors into big films before they’re ready.  So they don’t have the same effect on me as the classics."
