During The Walking Dead Season 10 Comic-Con@Home Panel (released today), hosted by Chris Hardwick and featuring Chief Creative Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner Angela Kang, Executive Producer Greg Nicotero, and stars Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa McBride (Carol), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Khary Payton (Ezekiel), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), and Paola Lazaro (Princess), it was announced that the TWD Season 10 Finale will air on Sunday, October 4 at 9/8c. The virtual panel teased the episode with an extended version of the opening scene.
The scene shows the return of Lauren Cohan as Maggie, as well as the arrival of a masked warrior, who will come to the survivors’ aid as they battle one of their toughest foes yet.
That foe is Beta, who is seen surrounded, in all his horrible glory, by one of the largest hordes imaginable.

Additionally, at the panel Kang announced that there will be six additional episodes of Season 10 that will air sometime in early 2021.
