The Walking Dead premiere is less than a month away, and the newest trailer for the series has made a splash on Zap2it and TV Squad. Variety, meanwhile, reports on Fox International Channels’ global marketing launch.
• Zap2it describes the new promo for The Walking Dead as “short, but sweet (like brains!)” while TV Squad advises, “Forget parades, parties and trick-or-treating, this Oct. 31 at 10PM ET you need to be in front of your TV with AMC on.”
• Variety reports that Fox International Channels is launching a worldwide campaign for The Walking Dead next week. Proclaims an executive, “We’re going to launch The Walking Dead like a theatrical release.”
• UGO gave away Drew Struzan posters of The Walking Dead: “Throw this poster up on your bedroom wall and you’ll have plenty of nightmares to tide you over until the big premiere!”
• Examiner.com reports that The Walking Dead premieres at the end of AMC Fearfest exclaiming, “two weeks of pure horror fun,” while Dread Central calls the event “the most anticipated horror series of all time.”Read More
