Daniel and Emma are best friends. Daniel moves back to Rosehaven, Tasmania to take over the family business. Emma joins him when her honeymoon is cut short by her husband deciding to leave Bali (and the relationship) early.

It's Daniel's first day in charge and Emma's first day as his employee. Rosehaven's locksmith has left and his son Damien wants to take over. The members of the Neighborhood Watch don't trust Damien and try to stop Daniel.

Daniel is hosting an open house and is hoping to finally make his first sale. Emma makes life difficult for him when she accidentally uploads pictures of the property that have been heavily photoshopped by the current owner.

It's Daniel and Emma's last day in Rosehaven. On a visit to Daniel's childhood club house they discover it's been taken over and defiled by Daniel’s old school bully, Bruce. With Emma’s help, Daniel tries to stand up to him.

Barbara is back after her operation and Daniel has some big, new ideas to improve the business. Emma is stuck at the house after breaking a golden Rosehaven rule and letting the house become overrun with workers.

Emma's husband Josh turns up in Rosehaven looking for forgiveness. Daniel and Emma set out to convince some fantastic tenants that they should stay in Rosehaven forever.

The business is in debt and Daniel makes some tough calls, like cutting sponsorship to a local sports team and firing staff, to try and save it. Emma is worried Daniel is starting to care more about the business than the people.

Daniel tells Emma that he and his girlfriend Grace are leaving Rosehaven for good. On their last inspection together, they discover that tenants Daniel approved have trashed McCallum Real Estate’s most important property.
