Detective Simon Boyd, a member of the Detroit Police Department's Internal Affairs Division, is on a mission: He's searching for a cop killer. He is officious, agonizingly patient and believes he’s the smartest guy in the room. Literally and metaphorically, he is a duck hunter, willing to sit and sit and sit knowing that eventually, he will capture his prey.
