“Haven’t you heard? I’m moving up in the world,” Villanelle (Jodie Comer) says in the latest episode of Killing Eve. But as she soon leanrs, being the boss is harder than Villanelle anticipated.
Villanelle told her former mentor and handler, Dasha (Dame Harriet Walter), in the Killing Eve Season 3 Premiere, that she would start working for the Twelve again on the condition of becoming a Keeper. Dasha laughed off the idea, but soon comes back with gifts in exchange for her recent work, the Spice Kill. She offers Villanelle a beautiful sun-filled apartment in Barcelona, and an even brighter future: Dasha tells Villanelle that the Twelve aren’t entirely opposed to the idea of her becoming a Keeper. But Villanelle has to prove herself first. Can Villanelle handle being a team player?
Meanwhile, Eve (Sandra Oh) and Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) are left reeling after the shock of Kenny’s (Sean Delaney) death. Their worlds collide again in the wake of their shared tragedy — but can Eve move past her falling out with Carolyn in Rome?
Still, Eve is convinced there was foul play involved in Kenny’s demise. Her search for answers brings her to Kenny’s new job, the digital investigative journal, Bitter Pill, where she meets Jamie Hayward (Danny Sapani) and Bear (Turlough Convery). There, the three of them try to piece together the digital trail of research that Kenny left behind.
Carolyn throws herself into her work, to escape her loss, and also to escape the attentions of her daughter, Geraldine (Game of Thrones‘ Gemma Whelan), who is absolutely bent on helping her mother to “grieve.” But Carolyn’s investigation must take a different form than Eve’s. How will Carolyn react to not being able to solve the one death that’s the most important to her?
