Since joining the group, Morgan has taken on the mantle of leadership.
But as that cast and creators explain in a new video taking viewers inside the episode, there’s a price to pay for making life-of-death decisions for others.
“He’s the guy who ran halfway across the country because he didn’t want to be around people,” explains Showrunner/Executive Producer Andrew Chambliss, “and now he’s the person that everyone is looking to for answers.”
Morgan has no choice but to lead the newly-formed faction.
But actor Lennie James notes that “I don’t think he feels like he has the right to lead.”
The price of being a leader means making decisions that could cost people their life.
“When Jim gets bit, that’s all Morgan’s fault as far as Morgan’s concerned,” James says.
