David Alpert

David Alpert – Executive Producer

  • David Alpert is a prolific producer, with television credits including The Walking Dead and its companion series Fear the Walking Dead, in addition to Outcast, Five Year, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and the docu-series Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics. His film credits include Air, starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou; American Ultra, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart; and the George Lopez film Spare Parts.

    Moving across platforms, Alpert executive produced Samsung Milk VR’s Gone, the first-ever narrative VR series. He also produced the VR series Delusion: Lies Within, based on the sold-out immersive theatrical experience, and the VR short film Dinner Party.

    Alpert is also CEO of Skybound Entertainment, which he founded alongside longtime collaborator Robert Kirkman. It was their vision to build Skybound, a multiplatform content company, to produce creatively driven content in all genres and formats with passionate creators at the helm. As CEO, Alpert oversees operations, creative development and production, and strategic business initiatives for the company.

    Alpert is an honors graduate of Harvard University and New York University School of Law.
