In support of the release of his latest book Tough Sh*t: Life Advice from a Fat, Lazy Slob Who Did Good, Kevin Smith schedules a book signing at the Secret Stash. Jason Mewes ("Jay" of Jay and Silent Bob fame) comes along to work security, and keeps the crowd informed of important rules like "No touching" and "Don't be farting." Ming is sent outside to wrangle a line that quickly grows to more than 1,000 people, including a fan who comes dressed as Spider-Man and another who has Kevin autograph his back next to a large tattoo of Jay kissing Silent Bob's cheek. Meanwhile, Walt turns down the chance to buy a custom-made costume of Mecha-Kong (from 1967's King Kong Escapes), is unable to negotiate a price for some original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artwork, and sells two issues from the Marvel Comics Kiss Super Special series. Walt's day is made when a seller brings in his favorite childhood toy: a Marvel World playset, which Walt calls "the greatest toy ever invented by human hands." After quickly becoming too emotional to negotiate, Walt calls in Kevin to bargain for him, but after seeing how badly Walt wants the toy, Kevin agrees to the seller's original asking price and gives it to Walt as a gift.
