Better Call Saul‘s third season has been nominated for a Peabody Award, which recognizes the most compelling and empowering stories released in electronic media during 2017.
“True to tradition, we are proud to present a rich mix of excellence in the craft of storytelling,” said Jeffrey P. Jones, executive director of Peabody. “These stories reflect important social issues and exemplify the power of diverse voices and platforms in media today.” Winners will be announced over several weeks from April 12 through April 24.
This nomination is the latest for Better Call Saul‘s most recent season, following nods from the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild Awards, and the Critics’ Choice Awards.
AMC’s original series Halt and Catch Fire was also recognized among this year’s Peabody Awards nominees.
