Better Call Saul has won a Writers Guild of America Award for the Season 3 episode “Chicanery,” written by Gordon Smith. The powerful episode brought Jimmy and Chuck face-to-face in court, finally unveiling Chuck’s fragile state.
Better Call Saul received two other nominations from the WGA this year, one for the episode “Slip,” written by Heather Marion and another recognizing the the show’s entire writing team in the Drama Series category.
AMC earned a total of four Writers Guild Award Nominations, as The Walking Dead: Red Machete received a nomination in the Short Form New Media Adapted category.
