Better Call Saul was recognized with seven Emmy nominations Thursday, including its second consecutive nomination for Outstanding Drama.
Bob Odenkirk (Jimmy McGill) is up for his second nomination for Lead Actor in a Drama, making it his second nomination for this category and fourth overall. Odenkirk’s partner in crime, Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut), is up for Supporting Actor in a Drama, his fourth nomination overall and second for Better Call Saul.
Behind the scenes, the show was also nominated for Outstanding Visual Effects, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for the episodes “Nailed” and “Rebecca” and Outstanding Sound Mixing.
Better Call Saul‘s nods are part of 24 total nominations AMC has received this year, including 12 nominations for The Night Manager, two for Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, two for to The Walking Dead, and one for Talking Dead. See a full list of all of AMC’s nominations here.
Winners will be announced on Sunday, September 18 when the Emmys air on ABC.
