EPISODE 101: The Education of Lucky Luciano (1906-1927)
Charles “Lucky” Luciano arrives in New York, teaming with Meyer Lansky and Bugsy Siegel. During Prohibition, Luciano‘s crew makes a fortune working with “Joe the Boss” Masseria and Arnold Rothstein. Luciano plots to take control of the New York underworld.
EPISODE 102: Equal Opportunity Gangster (1927-1931)
During Prohibition, Charles “Lucky” Luciano gains power in the New York underworld, but the murder of Arnold Rothstein throws the mob into chaos. Salvatore Maranzano and Joe Masseria start a mob war, and Luciano plans to kill the two bosses.
EPISODE 103: King of New York (1931-1935)
Charles “Lucky” Luciano takes over the New York mob, organizing the Five Families. As Luciano’s power increases, so does the heat from the Feds. Prosecutor Thomas Dewey starts a war with Dutch Schultz and the New York mafia, threatening everything Luciano has built.
EPISODE 104: A Rising Threat (1935-1936)
Charles “Lucky” Luciano’s decision to go into the prostitution business gives Thomas Dewey the opportunity he’s been waiting for. Using the new technology of wiretapping, Dewey has Luciano arrested and puts the most powerful mobster in the country on trial.
EPISODE 105: Exit Strategy (1936-1941)
Charles “Lucky” Luciano is found guilty of running a prostitution ring and goes to prison. Vito Genovese becomes acting boss, but when Genovese is accused of murder, underboss Frank Costello takes over. Costello’s first job: to take out mob-snitch Abe Reles.
EPISODE 106: The Mob at War (1941-1946)
World War II begins, and the military asks Charles “Lucky” Luciano to secure the New York docks and aid the invasion of Sicily. After the war, the Navy pressures Thomas Dewey to free Luciano. Dewey agrees...deporting Luciano to Italy.
EPISODE 107: New Frontiers (1946-1948)
Charles "Lucky" Luciano takes over Vito Genovese's heroin ring while in exile in Italy igniting a personal battle for control of the Luciano Crime Family between the two longtime associates. While Bugsy Siegel's dream of Las Vegas turns deadly, Luciano plots his return to the U.S. In order to assert his dominance over the New York Underworld.
EPISODE 108: End Game (1948-1962)
With Charles "Lucky" Luciano unable to return from exile in Italy, Vito Genovese and Carlo Gambino make their move to control the New York Mafia. Luciano and Genovese's personal rivalry comes to a head, when Genovese targets long time Luciano ally and acting Luciano Crime Family boss Frank Costello for assassination. Luciano and Meyer Lansky conspire to put down Genovese's power grab and ensure Luciano's successor is someone they deem more appropriate as all our main characters meet their final fates.
