Killing Eve Honored With Eight Nominations for the 72nd Annual Emmy Awards

Today, the Television Academy announced its list of nominations for the 72nd Annual Emmy Awards, and Killing Eve was honored with eight nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer were both nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for a second year in a row, for their portrayals of Eve Polastri and Villanelle, respectively. Fiona Shaw was also nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her turn as Carolyn Martens in Season 3.

The creators behind the camera were also honored for their technical achievements in Season 3. Production designer Laurence Dornan, Art Director Beckie Harvey, and Set Decorator Casey Williams were recognized in the Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program category for the Killing Eve Season 3, Episode 5, "Are You From Pinner?"

In addition, Killing Eve was nominated for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes for the episode "Are You From Pinner?" Read a Q&A with Costume Designer Sam Perry here about her work on Season 3.

Finally, Killing Eve was also nominated for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series.

The winners of the 72nd Annual Emmy Awards are scheduled to be announced on September 20.
