Better Call Saul Earns Golden Globe, SAG Award and WGA Nominations

It's award season and the nominations keep rolling in for Better Call Saul.

The series received recognition for the entire cast, receiving as Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Additionally, Bob Odenkirk, who is no stranger to receiving award noms for his performance as Jimmy McGill, received a a SAG nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.

Odenkirk's SAG nomination comes on the heels of  his Golden Globe nomination earlier this week and after receiving a Critics Choice nomination just last week.

The Better Call Saul writers have also been recognized with a Writers Guild Award nomination for Best Drama Series. Additionally, the show had three episodes nominated in the Episodic Drama category: Bad Choice Road, written by Thomas Schnauz, JMM, written by Allison Tatlock and Something Unforgivable, written by co-creator Peter Gould and Ariel Levine.

Speaking of Levine, she also earned a nomination in the Original and Adapted Short Form and New Media category for penning the Better Call Saul digital series, Employee Training: Legal Ethics with Kim Wexler. The most recent season won an Emmy and received a  Critics Choice nomination earlier this year.
