Better Call Saul Receives Writers Guild of America Award Nomination for Fourth Consecutive Year

The Writers Guild of America has announced the nominees for the 2019 WGA Awards and AMC’s Better Call Saul received a nomination in the Drama Series category for its fourth consecutive year.

The nomination recognizes the work of the show's writers, including Ann Cherkis, Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Gennifer Hutchison, Heather Marion, Bob Odenkirk, Thomas Schnauz, Gordon Smith, and Alison Tatlock.

Last year, Better Call Saul won a Writers Guild of America Award for the Season 3 episode “Chicanery,” written by Gordon Smith. The powerful episode brought Jimmy and Chuck face-to-face in court, finally unveiling Chuck’s fragile state.
