Better Call Saul Receives Two 2015 TCA Award Nominations

Today the Television Critics Association announced their nominees for the 2015 TCA Awards, and Better Call Saul was honored with two nominations: Bob Odenkirk was recognized for Individual Achievement in Drama, and the series received a nod in the Outstanding New Program category.

Odenkirk's challengers for this year's award include How to Get Away with Murder's Viola Davis, Empire's Taraji P. Henson, The Americans' Matthew Rhys and AMC's own Jon Hamm (Mad Men). The series will square off against some stiff competition as well: Fox's Empire, The CW's The Flash, The CW's Jane the Virgin and Amazon's Transparent are also in the running.

The awards will be presented Sat., Aug. 8 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel during the TCA summer press tour.
