AMC Sets Premiere Date for Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics
AMC has announced that AMC Visionaries: Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics will premiere as a two-night event starting on Sunday, November 12 at 11/10c, followed by a second episode on Monday, November 13 at 10/9c, in the show's regular time slot.
The six-part, one-hour documentary series takes a deeper look into the stories, people and events that have transformed the world of comic books and features interviews with icons such as Stan Lee, Patty Jenkins, Lynda Carter, Kevin Smith, Famke Janssen, J.K. Simmons, Michelle Rodriguez, and Todd McFarlane, among many others. Check out four first-look images from the show.

Being able to explore the nooks and crannies of this world has allowed me to find out secrets even I didn't know. AMC Visionaries: Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics is executive-produced by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead), Bryan and Sean Furst (Daybreakers, Dice), Daniel Junge (Saving Face, Being Evel) and Rory Karpf (The Book of Manning, Dale).
AMC Visionaries is a year-round documentary series in which groundbreaking artists curate and author the untold stories and fascinating histories of their respective genres. Previously announced series falling under the AMC Visionaries banner include AMC Visionaries: James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction, AMC Visionaries: Eli Roth’s History of Horror, and AMC Visionaries: Rap Yearbook, executive-produced by Questlove and Black Thought of The Roots.
