Breaking Bad and The Killing Each Receive a Golden Globe Nomination

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the Golden Globe Awards this morning, and AMC picked up two acting nominations: Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) received a nod for Best Actor in a TV Drama, while Mireille Enos (The Killing) was honored with a nomination for Best Actress in a TV Drama.

Cranston will be competing against Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire, HBO), Kelsey Grammer (Boss, Starz), Jeremy Irons (The Borgias, Showtime) and Damian Lewis (Homeland, Showtime). Competing with Enos are Claire Danes (Homeland, Showtime), Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife, CBS), Madeleine Stowe (Revenge, ABC) and Callie Thorne (Necessary Roughness, USA).

The Golden Globe Awards will be presented on Sun., Jan. 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The show, telecast by NBC, will be hosted by Ricky Gervais.
