A crazed drug lord dipping his face into a pile of cocaine before gunning down dozens is about as disturbingly outrageous as movies get, right? Not so, according to AMCtv.com fans, who’ve ranked ten other movies higher than Scarface in an online Top 100 Controversial Film List sourced from Filmsite.org.  The top ten currently kicks off with the utra-violent A Clockwork Orange at number one then nods to horror with The Exorcist, Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Rosemary’s Baby in slots two, three, four and five respectively. And it’s not just scary movies making the cut (and beating Scarface). The Vietnam War drama The Deer Hunter weighs in at number six while the pornographic Deep Throat comes in at seven. Rounding out the current top ten are Lolita (No. 8), Requiem For a Dream (No. 9) and Natural Born Killers (No. 10). But can they hold their present standing? Will Scarface shoot to the top? Now’s your chance to decide.
