Tribeca Film Festival 2011 – Talihina Sky‘s Nathan Followill on Sex Tapes vs. Movies

On the red carpet of the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival, AMC News correspondent Jacob Soboroff catches up with Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon‘s director, Stephen C. Mitchell, and one of its subjects, Kings of Leon band member Nathan Followill. The documentary covers the history of the band, which formed in a small Tennessee town and has become one of the biggest alternative-rock groups of the decade. Mitchell emphasizes the importance of those small-town roots, saying, “They come from an amazing part of America, where all the classic bands around the world draw from.” And what did Followill have to say about whether he thought he’d ever be in a movie? “Sex tape, yes; movie, no.” Watch the video below for more.
