Tribeca Film Festival 2011 – Roadie Shows What Happens When a Rock-and-roll Dream Ends

AMC News correspondent Jacob Soboroff talks with the director, Michael Cuesta, and star, Ron Eldard, of Roadie, a movie that tells the story of a roadie for Blue Öyster Cult, Jimmy Testagross (Eldard), who leaves the rock band’s tour and reluctantly returns home to live with his mother, in Queens, New York. Director Cuesta explains that the movie, which takes place over the course of one day and night with three main characters, is “very much about how you live with music and how it is part of your emotional life.” Watch the video below for more, including Eldard’s shout-out to Queens.
