AMC Picks Up Four SAG Award Nominations for Mad Men and Breaking Bad

AMC has earned four nominations from the Screen Actors Guild, which honors achievements in acting for television and film. Mad Men was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, a category it has won for the past two years. Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) both picked up nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, while Elisabeth Moss was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. This is the fourth nomination for Hamm and the second for Cranston and Moss.

Mad Men‘s competition in the ensemble category includes Boardwalk Empire (HBO), The Closer (TNT), Dexter (Showtime), and The Good Wife (CBS). Hamm and Cranston will be up against Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Hugh Laurie (House), and Michael C. Hall (Dexter). Moss is joined by Glenn Close (Damages), Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer), Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), and Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit).

The SAG Awards will be held on Sun., Jan. 30.
